Watch a regulator for moves that affect us
A weekly regulatory scan with plain-English implications and deadlines
Every Tuesday, scan for new regulatory and policy developments on [topic or agency, e.g. FTC actions on subscription billing, SEC crypto guidance, EU AI Act implementation]. Check the agency's official newsroom and the relevant register or docket pages, plus credible trade press, for the last 7 days. For each development: what happened — proposed rule, final rule, enforcement action, guidance, or comment deadline — a plain-English summary in 2-3 sentences, the key dates (especially comment periods and compliance deadlines), and a 'what it means for [my context, e.g. a B2B SaaS company handling payments]' line. Link primary sources, not just news coverage. Separate 'act on this' items — deadlines, direct applicability — from 'worth knowing' ones. If nothing relevant happened, one line saying so. Keep it under 350 words and skip the legalese; I want the operational takeaway.
