Research local-language forums and report back in English
An English brief of what local forums and communities really say, with linked quotes
Research what people are actually saying about [topic or product] in [language or country] sources — local subreddits, regional forums, review sites, blogs, and social discussions in the local language. Read enough threads to find real patterns, not just the loudest posts. Synthesize everything into an English brief: the dominant opinions and how strongly they are held, complaints and praise that keep recurring, cultural context an outsider would miss, and how sentiment differs from English-language coverage of the same topic. Include translated quotes for the strongest points, each linked to its source thread, and note roughly how representative each view seemed — one angry post versus a recurring theme. Flag anything you suspect is astroturfed or promotional. Keep the brief under a page, organized by theme, with a short section at the end on what this means for [my goal].
