Build me a crash course on a topic

Teach me [the topic] properly. My starting point: [what I already know, and why I need this, e.g. to make a decision, pass an exam, hold my own in a meeting]. Find the best sources to learn from, not just the first results: a standard reference or textbook chapter, a couple of the clearest explainers, the primary sources or key papers, and where practitioners actually discuss it. Read them. Write a crash course in layers: the five ideas that matter most in plain language, then how the pieces fit together, then the common misconceptions, then the current open debates and where the evidence points. Use concrete examples and numbers. End with a reading path of 5-8 sources in the order I should read them and what each one is for. Deliver it as a Google Doc [or here] and keep it under 2,000 words unless the topic genuinely needs more.
