Read a company's strategy from its job postings monthly
A monthly read on team growth, new functions, and strategy shifts from job posts
Once a month, read [company]'s hiring like an analyst. Pull their open roles from their careers page and LinkedIn's public job listings. Compare against last month's snapshot: new roles opened, roles closed or filled, and shifts in the mix. Then interpret: which functions are growing, new locations or markets being staffed, seniority patterns — builders versus managers — any first-ever roles that signal new initiatives, and listed compensation ranges where available. Cross-reference with recent announcements to connect hiring to strategy; a cluster of security hires or a first sales hire in a new region usually means something. Deliver a short brief: headline takeaway, the data as counts by function with month-over-month change, notable individual postings worth reading, and what I should watch for next month. Label speculation as such, and link the postings you reference since they disappear once filled.
