Tear down a competitor's signup and onboarding funnel
A page-by-page teardown of a rival's funnel with the moves worth stealing
Walk [competitor URL]'s acquisition funnel end to end, exactly as a new user would, and document every step. Start at the landing page and go through signup and onboarding screen by screen: the offer and hook on each page, the exact CTA copy, form fields and friction, the quiz/personalization flow if any, paywall or upgrade prompts, empty states, and the emails triggered along the way. Capture a screenshot of each meaningful step. Then analyze it: where they reduce friction, where they build motivation, the psychological levers they lean on, and where the funnel is weak. Compare against [my product] if I've given you one. Deliver a step-by-step teardown doc with the screenshots inline, followed by the specific moves worth borrowing and the mistakes to avoid. Don't sign up with real payment details or submit anything I'd have to undo.
