Every Friday afternoon, go through my pending LinkedIn connection requests. Accept people matching: [your accept criteria, e.g. candidates in my industry, engineers, people from companies I recruit for, anyone with a thoughtful note]. Decline only clear cases of: [your decline criteria, e.g. crypto spam, mass-blast salespeople with no note, fake-looking profiles]. The rule for everything in between: leave it pending and put it on a review list for me — when in doubt, never decline. Read profiles, not just headlines; a bad headline can hide a good fit. Give me a log in chat: accepted (name, title, why), declined (why), and the leave-for-me list with your one-line read on each. Note anyone who included a message that deserves a reply.
