Recruiters, hiring managers, and alumni at each company, with a personal note for each
For each company on my target list [names or sheet link], find the people worth contacting about [the role I want]: the recruiter or talent partner for that team, the likely hiring manager, and anyone who shares my school, past employer, or background. Use LinkedIn search and the company's team page. Open each profile to confirm they are current and relevant. For each person, record name, title, why they are the right contact, the connection we share if any, and their profile URL in my sheet. Then draft a short note for each, under 80 words, that names something specific from their profile or the company's recent news and asks one clear thing: a referral, a conversation, or advice on the process. Write them in my voice using my resume [link] for the specifics. Read-only on LinkedIn: do not send connection requests or messages. I will send the ones I like.
