Categorize last month's transactions for my books
Every transaction coded to your chart of accounts, receipts matched, oddities flagged
Open [my bank or card transactions for last month: an export I'm attaching / my bank portal / QuickBooks or Xero uncategorized feed] and categorize every transaction. Use my chart of accounts [list it, or infer it from how prior months were coded]. Where a vendor is unclear, look it up before guessing. Match receipts and invoices from my Gmail where you can and note the match. Flag: possible personal expenses, duplicate charges, subscriptions I may have forgotten, and anything over [amount] without a receipt. Write the result to a sheet [link, or a new one]: date, vendor, amount, category, receipt found yes/no, note. If I've given you access to my accounting tool, apply the categories there too, but never create, delete, or move money and never reconcile an account on my behalf. Finish with totals by category, the flagged list, and anything you could not categorize.
