Distill that long Slack thread into a decision doc

Turn this Slack thread into a decision document: [link to the thread, or name the channel and roughly when it happened]. Read the whole thread, including replies in subthreads. Write a decision record with: 1) Context — the problem in two or three sentences, for someone who never saw the thread. 2) Options considered — each option that was seriously discussed, with its main argument for and against, attributed by role rather than by name (e.g. 'engineering raised', not a person's name). 3) The decision — what was actually agreed, and the strength of the signal (explicit agreement, no objections, or still contested). 4) Owners and next steps mentioned in the thread. 5) Open questions left unresolved. If the thread never actually reached a decision, say that plainly up top — do not manufacture consensus. Keep it under one page.
